Uniboot Patch Cables: The Uniboot patch cord places both simplex fibers into one jacket while still terminating into a duplex LC or SC connector. Typical fiber optical cables use a zip-cord approach, which means that both fibers are jacketed separately. The typical size of the jacket is 3mm and on a zip cord this would be 6mm in width. With the creative design of the Uniboot now the entire cables is just 3mm which is a space savings of 50%. Wall Mount Fiber Patch Panels: The TCS wall mount fiber distribution enclosures are built to construction grade specifications. Each unit is manufactured with durable steel and coated with a scratch resistant polyester powder coat finish. Units are available in three sizes that fit the most common distribution requirements. Each unit is specifically designed for minimal space requirements. All units support both Patch and Patch/Splice applications. Premium Fiber Adapter Plates: The Premium plates still use Suncall adapters, but with some extra features. The main difference is the addition of shutters on the front of the adapters. The shutters protect from dust entering the adapter and damaging the glass or creating a bad connection. The shutters also keep harmful laser light from accidentally hitting your eye. Further, the adapters have the feature of a stable spring. This helps keep the connector from moving in the metal plate. MTP/MPO Cassettes: Most cassettes you see on the market are made will very thin steal which make them very flimsy and not able protect the inside components well. We made our MTP/MPO Cassettes with durable .060 gauge aluminum and finished them with a black powder coat. Also to reduce the bend radius on the MTP/MPO cable we placed the connector on the back at an angle. We offer 2 different lines, our standard and premium. The difference between the two is having built in shutters on the front side of the premium Cassettes.
